Objective : To investigate the outcome of intracoronary stenting for patients with coronary artery disease- Methods :Sixty one different kinds of stents were implanted in 53 vessels of 44 cases with coronary artery disease during percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty from October 1996 to February 1999- There were 32 LAD,11 RCA, 8 LCX and 2 obtuse margin artery lesions , and they were classified as 5 type A,19 type Band 20 type C,LVEF were 36 % ～92 % (mean 54 % )- Results : Except two proceduralfailures ,61 stents were implanted successfully ,the succsess rate was 96-8 % - Conclusion :Intracoronary stenting is a safe and effective therapeutic method-
