摘要:
Analysis of 400 cases of cervical spondylosis revealed that developmental stenosis of the cervical spinal canal was an important etiologic factor for cervical spondylosis. In this group, 152 cases (38%) were associated with developmental stenosis of the spinal canal. The widely distributed cervical sympathetic innervation makes the symptoms more complicated. 58% of the patients had symptomatic improvement following sympathetic nerve block with procaine. The purposes of surgical intervention are decompression of the narrowed spinal canal, curettage of the spurs and ruptured discs, and inter-vertebral body grafting for stability.
