摘要：
Cirrhosis is a very common chronic disease with an insidious onset and a protracted course. Many kinds of complications may occur in patients with advanced liver cirrhosis. Patients with cirrhosis have seriously affected quality of life and have to suffer great physical and mental pain. Evaluation of quality of life in patients with cirrhosis is of great significance for the management of this disease. The quality of life in patients with cirrhosis is influenced by many factors, including sex, age, education, economy, duration, severity, Child classification, and late complications. Of these factors, disease course, severity, liver function grade and late complications have the greatest impact. In this paper we review major factors that affect quality of life in patients with cirrhosis. © 2013 Baishideng. All rights reserved.
